Parks Associates is a boutique market research firm specializing in high-technology consumer products and services including: Internet access, home networking equipment, multimedia entertainment applications, and cellular telephones. In addition, Parks Associates hosts a number of industry conferences each year.

Title: Research Intern

Parks Associates is seeking part-time/full-time interns. Interns will play a key role in Parks Associates’ research team collecting/analyzing market data and writing profiles of competitive players, products, and services. Findings will then be included in published industry reports.

Requirements

• Student currently earning a Graduate level degree in Economics, Finance, Journalism, Political Science, or similar field.

• Superb writing skills and experience using MS Excel.

• Ability to conduct Internet research via google, yahoo, and other search engines.

• Analytically minded.

• Coursework/experience in financial analysis/economics/statistics a plus.

No prior experience or knowledge of technology markets is necessary.
