Consumers Expect Full-Feature Service, Even for OTT

During TV Connect in London, Parks Associates announced research that shows consumers want and expect the same TV viewing experience throughout their home, regardless of the device they choose and the service offered. This means that expectations remain high no matter if the service is OTT, managed operator network, satellite, or any other type of delivery mechanism.

Brett Sappington, Director of Research at Parks Associates, is attending TV Connect this week. He will be speaking in two panel discussions on Wednesday, March 19: "The Rise of 4K” and "Tomorrow’s Set-top Box: Thick or Thin Client.”

He is also hosting a free webinar, "OTT Services: Moving from Sideline to Primetime" on March 27.
