47 Million European Households Will Have Connected TV by 2014

International research firm Parks Associates today announced it will bring together executives from Ralink Technology, Rovi, Gigle Networks, Visiware, and Samsung Electronics Europe to participate in a special panel at the CONNECTIONS™ Europe technology summit next month.

New research from Parks Associates indicates the number of European households with a connected TV will grow from less than 4 million in 2009 to 47 million in 2014. The number of households with a connected Blu-ray player will jump from 5 million in 2010 to approximately 66 million in 2014.
