Parks Associates will be the content provider and sponsor of OSP EXPO Education Track 6: Research/Trends/Analyst. Attendees will learn how consumer trends such as smart homes, telemedicine and technical support needs impact the telecom network and those who work to evolve it.

Sessions:

*Telemedicine - New Solutions for Healthcare
*Advanced Tools and Infrastructure for Consumer Tech Support
*Blending Mobile and Video - Providing Quality Video
*Device Interoperability: Standards for the Connected Home
*Integration of Connected CE with Home Services
*The Future of the Personal Cloud
*BYOD's Impact on the Network for SMBs

"We are proud to continue our partnership with Parks Associates, and especially excited about the leading edge topics they have chosen for OSP EXPO 2013," said Sharon Vollman, President/Editorial Director OSP Magazine.

"We are pleased to be hosting multiple educational sessions at OSP EXPO offering executive insight and analysis on business strategies for the connected home," said Stuart Sikes, President, Parks Associates. "Parks Associates analysts moderate all sessions, which feature executives from Broadcom, Qualcomm, Technicolor, Hitachi, iYogi, and many more. By 2017, consumers worldwide will buy nearly 330 million connected TV devices annually, which include smart TVs, gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, and streaming video media devices. These devices are challenging traditional business models but also opening new opportunities for companies willing to innovate."

"Service providers in particular are under increasing pressure to innovate as content costs escalate and households adopt connected and mobile CE," said Patrice Samuels, Research Analyst, Parks Associates. "Tech support offers an avenue to maintain strong customer relationships and generate additional revenue, with revenues for the total U.S. tech support market reaching $8.25 billion by 2017."
