While consumers are beginning to understand that poor sleep detracts from quality of life and contributes to chronic health problems, they have a difficult time knowing what to do to improve their sleep. Moderated by Jennifer Kent, director of research, quality and product development at Parks Associates, the interactive panel session will discuss how to integrate sleep technology into a smart home experience and how to engage consumers a more meaningful way. Barra will leverage her deep knowledge of the customer to provide unique insight into the need of individualized, smart sleep innovations for overall health and wellness.

“Parks Associates data reveals that more than one-third of consumers indicate they’d like help improving their sleep quality, second only to the desire for help losing weight,“ said Jennifer Kent, Director of Research, Parks Associates. “The next generation of sleep solutions are not only detecting sleep patterns but personalizing recommendations to improve an individual’s sleep environment and quality.”
