Whisker Labs CEO Robert Marshall To Speak At CES 2017 Connections Summit

GERMANTOWN, Md.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Whisker Labs CEO Robert Marshall has been selected as a featured panelist at the CES 2017 Parks Associates Connections Summit, which takes place January 5th, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marshall’s panel, “IoT Crossover: Smart Home, Entertainment, Appliances, Cars, and Energy,” examines the partnerships, business models and technology integration necessary to achieve the vision of an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart home.

While nearly 50% of U.S. broadband households plan to buy a smart home device in the next 12 months, there will still be over 100 million U.S. households that do not have a single smart home device by the end of 2016 according to Parks Associates. At CES 2017 Whisker Labs will unveil its approach to solving this market challenge, by demonstrating the world’s first do-it-yourself (“DIY”) home energy monitoring sensor that delivers accurate, real-time power usage and diagnostic information for each appliance in the home – without costly and complex professional installation.
