AT&T Mobility President will discuss Influence of Wireless at CONNECTIONS

Parks Associates announced Glenn Lurie, President of Emerging Devices, Resale and Partnerships, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, will deliver the afternoon keynote "New Connections for a Digital Life" at CONNECTIONS™ on Thursday, June 29.

Parks Associates will host CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Living Conference and Showcase on June 28-30 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Mr. Lurie will present on June 29 at 4:20 p.m., discussing initiatives to bring wireless to a host of new devices and applications, including tablets, netbooks, laptops, and embedded computing devices.

"The tablet has achieved over 12% penetration among U.S. broadband households in just one year since the relaunch and reinvigoration of this product category, thanks to the iPad," said Kurt Scherf, VP, Principal Analyst, Parks Associates. "By 2015, more than one-half of the tablets sold will have native mobile broadband connectivity. Glenn Lurie's insight into consumer trends and mobility provides a comprehensive vision of their ongoing impact on the digital lifestyle."
