One in six US broadband households now own a smartwatch

The workshop was part of the Connected Health Conference which is hosted by the Personal Connected Health Alliance.

Jennifer Kent, director of research quality and product development at Parks Associates, said: “One in six U.S. broadband households now owns a smart watch, and roughly two-thirds of these owners use the device daily.”

She added: “NPS for this product category is also trending upwards, so we predict smart watches will have strong growth at the end of 2018 and start to expand beyond innovators and early adopters into the early majority.”
