Digital Parenting for the IoT Generation

Connectivity has profoundly impacted the act of parenting. Some connected solutions add convenience to managing a household or provide peace of mind for family safety and wellbeing, but screen time, privacy concerns, and other issues related to online content and connected devices cause parents concern. This consumer study explores how Gen X and Millennial parents utilize connected technology in their approach to parenting and household management. The study focuses on product and service features that add value for parents specifically and value added features or incentives drive purchase of devices, preferred purchase channels, product feature interests, and attitudes about connected technology/digital parenting solutions.
