According to Modor Intelligence, the smart homes market was valued at USD 79.13 billion in 2020, and it is expected to reach USD 313.95 billion by 2026 and register a CAGR of 25.3% over the forecast period (2021 – 2026). Since few years the sharp interest is growing about the transformative values of the Internet of Things (IoT) for connected home and building automation. The Smart Home and building are more likely to be fully « digital » and remotely controlled via internet. The emerging demand of low-cost sensors and wireless technologies in smart home are drastically changing the indoor environments, where we work and live, enabling higher levels of efficiency, energy saving, comfort and safety. In addition, the pandemic situation, accelerated partially the trend.
