Arrayent Inc., the leading consumer IoT Platform-as-a-Service, announced today the addition of the IFTTT platform to its growing list of third-party ecosystem integrations. With today’s release of Arrayent’s EcoAdaptor™ for IFTTT, brand manufacturers can now more easily achieve IFTTT interoperability with their products that are connected and managed by the Arrayent platform. Once connected through Arrayent’s EcoAdaptor service, and then submitted to IFTTT and published, brand manufacturers can empower consumers to add or create countless connections between digital devices and services.
The announcement was made during the Parks Associates’ CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference, where Arrayent is participating May 23-25 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport.
Alongside the EcoAdaptor announcement, IFTTT has published the Arrayent DevKit Service. This is linked to the Arrayent development environment that enables developers at brand manufacturers to quickly produce IFTTT-enabled prototypes.
“We are thrilled to have Arrayent join the platform,” said Anne Mercogliano, IFTTT VP of Marketing. “Their service can help illustrate the limitless potential that brands can have when working with IFTTT.”
“When connected products can seamlessly interact, it creates an opportunity to create more valuable solutions for the smart home,” said Arrayent CEO Cyril Brignone. “IFTTT functionality brings the power of ‘coding for everyone’ to Arrayent’s ‘interoperability done simply’ and empowers brands to easily empower new and evolving experiences.”
Arrayent’s ecosystem services support a growing list of EcoAdaptors including the Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Protect Smoke/CO detector, Amazon Echo/Alexa—and soon to come: Google Home, Amazon DRS, Salesforce and WeChat.
