Consumer Use Cases for IoT, Cloud Services, and the Smart Home Are Key Focus for Parks Associates 11th-annual CONNECTIONS™ Europe

12% of broadband households in Western Europe will have an IP camera by 2018

Following the success of the 20th annual CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference & Showcase,Parks Associates announced the topics for the 11th-annual CONNECTIONS™ Europe: Smart Home, IoT, and the Connected Consumer, which will be held 2-3 November 2016 at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam. The event will focus on the impact of IoT, cloud services, and the smart home on the consumer, including innovative business strategies to engage European consumers, new crossover industry partnerships, and advancements in Wi-Fi and broadband network technologies that are impacting adoption of connected technologies in Europe and worldwide.

Parks Associates’ NUMBERS™ research shows Germany will have over 30 million broadband households by the end of 2016. That same year, the U.K. will exceed 23 million broadband households, and France will have nearly 27 million broadband households.
