Amazon, Centrica, Deutsche Telekom, and Philips Lighting to address latest trends in smart home and IoT
International IoT research firm Parks Associates today announced the keynote lineup for the 12th-annual CONNECTIONS™ Europe, 1-2 November 2017 at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel, which features executives from Amazon, Centrica, Deutsche Telekom, and Philips Lighting.
“As the capabilities of connected devices increase, the connected home evolves into an environment that responds to the status of each device, interacts based on consumers’ preferences, and provides a personalized experience that reflects the values and demands of each user,” said Brad Russell, Research Director, Connected Home, Parks Associates. “At CONNECTIONS™ Europe, we will examine the multichannel consumer IoT market and the top trends impacting the converging smart home ecosystems.”
More than 200 executives will attend the 12th-annual CONNECTIONS™ Europe conference. Parks Associates analysts will moderate all sessions and present the firm’s new consumer research.

- 6:00– George Yianni, Head of Technology – Home Systems, Philips Lighting, presents “Reinventing the Light Bulb.” He will examine recent changes and strategies for success in the connected lighting and the broader smart home ecosystem.
Thursday, 2 November
- 9:45 – Sudeep Maitra, Global VP, Strategy and Development, Centrica Connected Home, presents “Moving from Device to Experience.” He will explore how smart home brands can thrive as connected home technology becomes ever more competitive and commoditized.
