ConnectivityWeek Explores Critical Energy Issues, Beyond Smart Grid

The 9th annual ConnectivityWeek Conference held May 23-26, 2011 in Santa Clara, California, to explore how information and communications technologies can help manage energy and deliver efficiency to the power grid and energy consumers. Through an array of tracks focused on residential, commercial, infrastructure and industrial consumers, ConnectivityWeek’s “meeting of the minds” format brings together stakeholders shaping the future of energy, including utilities, consumers, policymakers, telecommunications and information technology (IT) companies.

The four-day event explores the value propositions, business models, and technologies needed to deliver the efficiency, productivity and cost benefits of the Smart Grid, beyond the grid.

With more than 1,500 attendees, including 200 speakers, and an expo hall, ConnectivityWeek provides a stage for industry collaboration that will help participants integrate the smart energy mindset into their business models.
