Ability to protect one’s home while traveling is top driver for security purchases

New Parks Associates research shows the ability to protect one’s home while traveling as the top driver for security purchases, with nearly 60% of home security households claiming this ability as most important. Remote access capability was also very influential in motivating security purchases. Nearly 40% of home security households listed this as a key driver for their security ownership.

Parks Associates’ analysts will discuss smart home research and home security issues at the 20th-annual CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference, May 24-26 in San Francisco.
