How is your company engaging consumers through new technology solutions?

Qualcomm Technologies is the leading supplier of advanced silicon solutions to the smartphone market as well as a leading supplier of connectivity solutions in the home, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and others - we apply our core capabilities in MSM, APQ, location, connectivity, imaging and audio to improve the user experience of device end-users.

In the connected home we provide key solutions for the home networking infrastructure as well as for all the devices that attach to that network, including televisions, appliances, lighting, and others.

What is the biggest change you have seen in the past year in the connected home and entertainment industries?

  • Greater adoption of connectivity in consumer products by both equipment vendors and consumers
  • Equipment vendor efforts to assure their products are interoperable with multiple ecosystems

What do you think is the biggest driver for the connected consumer market?
